Australian Naval Infrastructure Pty Ltd (ANI) is the owner, developer and manager of the Osborne Naval Shipyards, supporting the Commonwealth’s Naval Shipbuilding Plan. ANI is responsible designing, constructing and managing the shipyard infrastructure, including the new Nuclear-Powered Submarine Construction Yard to support the AUKUS program, and operating and maintaining common use facilities.

ANI has an opportunity for an IT Service Desk Support professional to join its Enterprise Technology Services function. Reporting to the Service Desk Team Lead, you will provide technology support across Microsoft 365, end-user devices, workplace technologies, identity and access, and ServiceNow. This role offers the opportunity to work across a diverse technology environment, partnering with stakeholders throughout the business to deliver high-quality technology services and contribute to service improvement initiatives.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Support employee onboarding, offboarding, access requests and device provisioning
  • Configure, deploy and maintain end-user devices while supporting asset lifecycle management
  • Contribute to cybersecurity compliance, knowledge management and continuous service improvement

About You:

You are a customer-focused technology professional who enjoys building trusted relationships and delivering exceptional service. With strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills, you can confidently translate technical concepts into clear, practical solutions that are easy for others to understand and apply.

With a proactive and service-focused mindset, you thrive in a collaborative environment, take ownership of issues through to resolution, and enjoy working with people at all levels of an organisation. Combining strong problem-solving skills with the ability to balance competing priorities, you consistently deliver a high standard of support and customer experience.

You will also have:

  • Experience providing technology support within a corporate or customer-facing environment
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build relationships with stakeholders across the business
  • The ability to communicate technical information in a clear, practical and user-friendly manner
  • A proactive approach to problem-solving and continuous improvement
  • Level 1 and/or Level 2 technology support capability within a corporate environment
  • Skills in administration of cloud Microsoft 365 services, Entra, Intune, Exchange, Sharepoint and IT service management processes are desired.

Why Join ANI

Enjoy a 9-day fortnight, a supportive and collaborative team environment, and the opportunity to contribute to Australia's naval shipbuilding future.

As part of ANI's Technology & Cybersecurity function, you'll work across modern workplace technologies, service management, cybersecurity and infrastructure operations. You'll contribute to technology initiatives that support critical business outcomes while working within one of Australia's most significant infrastructure and Defence programs.
