Are you an experienced IT Service Manager who knows how to bring together technology, risk, contracts and stakeholders in a complex banking environment?

We are looking for a Senior IT Service Manager to join a large international financial organisation in Amsterdam. You will coordinate service management activities across multiple technology domains, helping ensure IT services are effectively governed, compliant and delivering against agreed expectations.

This is a highly stakeholder-focused position where you will work across Technology, Risk, Finance, Legal, Compliance, Procurement and Sourcing in an international environment.

About the role

As an IT Service Manager, you will act as a trusted advisor on service management, risk and contractual matters. Rather than owning one specific IT service, you will coordinate activities across multiple domains and help drive a consistent approach to service management.

You will:

• Coordinate IT service management activities across multiple technology domains.
• Support the management of service and sourcing contracts throughout their lifecycle.
• Ensure appropriate service governance is established and followed.
• Monitor service performance against agreed SLAs and KPIs.
• Work closely with Risk, Finance, Legal, Compliance, Procurement and technology stakeholders.
• Monitor service risks, including business continuity and potential service disruptions.
• Support audits and regulatory requirements within a highly regulated banking environment.
• Identify opportunities for service improvement and coordinate corrective actions.
• Support service reviews, reporting and service catalogue management.
• Help drive consistent service management practices across an international organisation.

The position is based in Amsterdam and involves working with stakeholders across multiple countries and technology teams.

Who are you?

• Approximately 6+ years of relevant professional experience within IT/service management.
• At least 3 years' experience in IT Service Management .
• Strong experience with IT Risk Management .
• At least 3 years' experience with Sourcing and/or Contract Management .
• Previous experience within banking or financial services is essential .
• Strong knowledge of service management methodologies such as ITIL4 ; knowledge of IT4IT or product-led environments is beneficial.
• Comfortable working within a regulated environment and dealing with risk, compliance and governance requirements.
• Strong stakeholder-management skills with the ability to influence across technical and business teams.
• Able to coordinate multiple teams and priorities without needing direct ownership of each service.
• Bachelor's or Master's level education with a strong affinity for IT/technology.
• Comfortable working in an Agile and international environment.
