IT Software Developer

The IT Software Developer is responsible for designing, developing, maintaining, and enhancing the company's Integrated Fabtech System (FileMaker) to support business operations. The role involves developing and testing software solutions based on business requirements, managing system functionality, ensuring software quality through coding and process control, and providing technical support to end-users. The position also assists in knowledge transfer by training new IT team members and performs other duties as assigned to support the organization's technology initiatives.

Duties and Responsibilities:

1. Design, develop, and maintain the Integrated Fabtech System (FileMaker).
2. Provide technical expertise in software development and engineering.
3. Develop, test, and implement software solutions based on established specifications and requirements.
4. Analyze and understand complex system requirements to support software development.
5. Develop software tools and subsystems to improve system functionality, reusability, and efficiency.
6. Implement and maintain software development processes and coding standards to ensure quality and consistency.
7. Manage and provide technical support for the Integrated Fabtech System (FileMaker) for end-users.
8. Conduct training and knowledge transfer for new members of the IT Department.
9. Perform other related duties and responsibilities as may be assigned by the Supervisor.

Qualifications:

1. Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, or related field.
2. With experience in software development and programming.
3. Knowledge in FileMaker and database management is an advantage.
4. With skills in system analysis, software testing, and troubleshooting.
5. Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
6. With good communication and technical support skills.
7. Ability to train and assist IT team members.
