IT Software Procurement Specialist

We are looking for an experienced IT Procurement Specialist to join its Software Procurement team in Portugal. The role sits at the intersection of supplier negotiation, contract management, and internal stakeholder alignment: contributing directly to the group's digital transformation and profitability goals.

This is not a technical IT role. The focus is on commercial acumen, negotiation power, and the ability to operate across a complex international environment.

GOALS AND DELIVERABLES

• Lead software financial and contract negotiations with suppliers and internal stakeholders

• Define and implement sourcing strategies to optimize costs and consolidate preferred supplier panels

• Manage and reinforce Supplier Relationship Management (SRM) with strategic partners

• Monitor supplier performance through a continuous improvement approach

• Oversee tenders and requests for quotation (RFQ) at group level

• Negotiate contract renewals and new agreements with existing and new suppliers

• Act as an internal ambassador for procurement policies and processes

• Collaborate closely with Group Digital & IT, Finance, Legal, and Cyber departments

• Ensure proper use of sourcing tools and maintain accurate savings/contract reporting

EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

• Minimum 5 years of experience in vendor management in the software/IT procurement field

• Proven track record in supplier negotiation and contract management

• Experience working in international or multinational environments

• Background in interacting with cross-functional stakeholders (IT, Finance, Legal)

• Experience with sourcing tools and procurement reporting
