IT Specialist – BPO Infrastructure & Network

About the Role

CPS APAC is looking for a proactive and experienced IT Specialist to lead the technology infrastructure setup and technical operations for our BPO environment.

In this role, you will be the primary IT point person responsible for transforming new or existing office spaces into fully functional, secure, and high-performing work environments. You will work hands-on with network infrastructure, hardware deployment, connectivity, IT security, and vendor coordination.

This position is ideal for an IT professional with strong network administration experience and hands-on BPO or call center infrastructure setup experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the end-to-end IT setup of new office spaces, ensuring all systems are operational and ready for business launch.
• Design, configure, deploy, and troubleshoot network infrastructure, including LAN, WAN, VPN, VLAN, routers, switches, firewalls, and Wi-Fi.
• Manage the procurement, configuration, imaging, deployment, and maintenance of workstations, laptops, headsets, and other IT peripherals.
• Coordinate with Internet Service Providers (ISPs), technology vendors, contractors, and building administration for installations and technical requirements.
• Implement and maintain baseline IT security controls appropriate for BPO and shared-services environments.
• Establish and maintain an accurate inventory of hardware, software, equipment, and software licenses.
• Provide hands-on technical support during the launch and transition of new campaigns or office operations.
• Troubleshoot network, hardware, software, connectivity, and endpoint-related issues.
• Coordinate with Operations and other stakeholders to ensure IT readiness and minimize operational downtime.
• Maintain proper documentation of network configurations, equipment, IT assets, and technical procedures.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of experience in IT Support, Systems Administration, Network Administration, or a related IT role.
• Hands-on experience in setting up, expanding, migrating, or launching a BPO, call center, or shared-services office is highly preferred.
• Strong practical knowledge of LAN, WAN, VPN, VLAN, network configuration, and troubleshooting.
• Experience with routers, switches, firewalls, wireless networks, and other network infrastructure.
• Familiarity with endpoint management, workstation deployment, access controls, and IT asset management.
• Experience coordinating with ISPs, vendors, contractors, and third-party technology providers.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple IT projects, priorities, and vendor timelines.
• Strong communication and coordination skills, particularly when working with Operations teams and external vendors.
• Willingness to work hands-on in an active office setup and deployment environment.

Physical Requirements

• Willing to work onsite and perform hands-on IT setup and deployment activities.
• Able to safely lift, move, and install IT equipment weighing up to 50 lbs, including servers, UPS units, and boxes of desktop computers.
• Comfortable with frequent bending, kneeling, reaching, cable routing, equipment installation, and workstation setup.
• Able to work in new or actively developing office environments during IT setup and launch activities.
