IT Specialist

Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be responsible in the following areas:

• Perform installation, configuration, testing, and administration of hardware, software and network resources.
• Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software and network issues by interacting with clients, developers, and infrastructure team.
• Conduct regular inventory, technical documentation and operational procedures update.
• Apply operating system and software patch
• Familiar with system documentation for government project
• Familiar with government cloud will be an advantage

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree or above in computer science, or other IT-related disciplines, or equivalent;
• At least nine (9) years of IT experience;
• At least five (5) years of IT experience in implementing at least one or more IT system(s): and
• At least three (3) years of IT experience that covers one or more of the following areas (viz., functional/speciality experience) which period of experience may overlap with the period as required in (c) above;
• Implement system with high-speed matching capability using pattern matching engine;
• Implement system using addressing tool;
• Implement system using text analytics engine;
• Implement system using real-time analytics engines; or
• Implement system using multi-model databases supporting multiple data models such as graph, key-value;
• Good communication, proactive and independent working style, demonstrating ownership and responsibility
• Self-motivated, strong problem solving and analytical skills
• Able to work in a team environment
• Must possess excellent communication skills in Cantonese and English
• Immediately available is an advantage
