Indianhead Medical Center (IMC) is a 25-bed critical access facility that has been providing quality care to the surrounding communities for over 70 years. Services include inpatient, outpatient, clinical, surgical, rehabilitation with extensive inpatient and outpatient therapies, and emergency care. We are currently seeking an IT Specialist join Indianhead Medical Center! This is a full-time, benefits eligible position!

Job Summary:

The Information Technology Specialist will plan, establish, and manage information technology (IT) projects and will serve as a liaison between the business and technical aspects of assigned projects. The IT Specialist will also assist IMC staff with any tech troubleshooting and provide hands on assistance. The IT Specialist will trained to be a subject matter expert on Electronic Health Record (HER) software and will assist staff with the transition.

Essential Duties/Responsibilities:

· Manages assigned IT projects.

· Troubleshoots and repairs desktop computers, laptops, printers, scanners, mobile medical cards and network connection issues.

· Sets up work stations including computer, monitors and phones.

· Become an expert user on Electronic Health Record software and train other staff members how to use it.

· Answers phone or email questions, reset passwords, etc.

· Performs other related duties as assigned.

Required Skills/Abilities:

· Organized with attention to detail.

· Excellent analytical, logical thinking, and problem-solving skills.

· Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

· Thorough understanding of information technology procedures and practices.

· Proficient with, or able to quickly become proficient with, a range of general and specialized applications, software, and hardware used in the organization and the industry.

· Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.

Education and Experience:

· Associate’s degree in Computer or Information Science-related field required

· Previous experience in a role involving customer service

Hourly wage offers are based on experience and qualifications for this position.
