IT SPECIALIST

IT Technical Support

• Provide technical support to stores, Head Office, and employees.
• Troubleshoot hardware, software, network, and system-related issues.
• Respond to IT concerns and resolve issues within the required timeframe.

POS System Support

• Install, configure, maintain, and troubleshoot POS terminals.
• Assist stores with POS-related issues such as connectivity, transactions, printers, scanners, and cash drawers.
• Coordinate with POS vendors for system issues requiring escalation.

Network & Internet Management

• Monitor and troubleshoot internet and network connectivity in branches.
• Configure and maintain routers, switches, Wi-Fi, and other network equipment.
• Coordinate with internet service providers when there are connectivity issues.

Hardware & Software Management

• Install and maintain computers, laptops, printers, barcode scanners, CCTV-related equipment, and other IT devices.
• Ensure proper installation and configuration of required software.
• Maintain an updated inventory of IT equipment and assets.

Store IT Setup

• Provide IT support during the opening, renovation, transfer, or relocation of stores.
• Assist with the installation and setup of POS, computers, network devices, printers, and other IT equipment.

System Monitoring & Maintenance

• Conduct regular preventive maintenance of IT equipment.
• Monitor system performance and identify potential technical problems.
• Perform system updates, backups, and basic security checks.

IT Security

• Implement and maintain basic IT security procedures.
• Monitor user access and ensure appropriate system permissions.
• Protect company systems, devices, and data from unauthorized access.

Vendor Coordination

• Coordinate with IT suppliers, POS providers, internet providers, and other third-party vendors.
• Monitor service requests, repairs, warranties, and technical concerns.

Documentation & Reporting

• Maintain records of IT incidents, repairs, equipment, and system issues.
• Prepare IT reports and recommendations for management.
• Maintain documentation of network and system configurations.
