IT Specialist

Job Summary 700Apps is looking for a strong, hands-on, and multi-skilled IT Specialist to support and manage day-to-day IT operations across multiple locations.

The ideal candidate will have practical experience across systems, networking, cloud services, security, hardware, business applications, websites, and IT infrastructure . The role requires someone who can work independently, troubleshoot technical issues, manage multiple priorities, and take ownership of daily IT operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Support Windows Server and Linux environments.
• Manage Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS, DHCP, users, and permissions.
• Work with Linux CLI, SSH, Windows Command Line, and PowerShell.
• Perform remote administration and troubleshooting.
• Use basic to intermediate scripting with Bash, PowerShell, Python, or similar technologies.
• Support TCP/IP, subnetting, VLANs, routing, switching, NAT, DNS, and DHCP.
• Configure and troubleshoot firewalls, security policies, and port forwarding.
• Support email administration, SPF, DKIM, DMARC, and DNS records.
• Work with Azure, AWS, Oracle Cloud, or similar cloud environments.

• Provide first-level maintenance and troubleshooting for desktops and laptops.
• Diagnose hardware issues and replace common components such as RAM, SSDs, batteries, keyboards, and similar parts.
• Support structured cabling, network racks, patch panels, switches, access points, and UPS systems.
• Perform RJ45 termination and basic network testing.
• Support CCTV, IP Cameras, NVR/DVR, Access Control, biometric devices, and related systems.
• Maintain technical documentation, network diagrams, asset inventories, backups, and operational procedures.
• Handle multiple incidents and tasks while prioritizing based on business impact.
• Coordinate with external specialists and vendors when advanced technical support is required.

Requirements

• 2–4 years of relevant hands-on IT experience.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Practical experience is more important than certifications.
• Ability to work independently and take ownership of technical issues.
• Good communication and documentation skills.
• Willingness and ability to learn new technologies.
• Relevant certifications in Microsoft, Cisco, Fortinet, Linux, Azure, AWS, or similar technologies are an advantage.
