IT Specialist (SAP)

About the role

This role involves providing expertise in relevant software modules, investigating and diagnosing issues, and leveraging system knowledge and troubleshooting techniques to support business applications.

Key responsibilities

• Provide expertise in relevant software modules and investigate and diagnose issues using system knowledge and troubleshooting techniques
• Perform system integration testing, user acceptance testing, and support user adoption activities for new developments and modifications
• Provide timely resolution of bugs or escalation to higher support levels as needed
• Analyze recurring incidents to identify underlying problems and conduct root cause analysis
• Determine corrective actions and implement permanent fixes or workarounds to prevent future occurrences
• Document known errors and maintain a knowledge base for reference
• Review and assess proposed changes to software systems and coordinate with IT Head/Project Manager to evaluate change impact and risks
• Implement approved changes following change management procedures
• Manage user access and roles within each software and provide training and guidance to end-users
• Manage relationships with third-party vendors and service providers for specialized support and maintenance

About you

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology or any other related course
• One (1) or more years' experience in Advance Business Application Programming (ABAP) in SAP S/4 HANA
• Analytical, result-oriented, team player, fast learner and dynamic
• Can work with minimum supervision
• Working knowledge in information security and data protections
• Ability to apply security control in translating technical design to coding
• Thorough; demonstrates attention to detail and accuracy
• Willing to learn the full cycle of S4hana and configurations
