What they need

Job Summary: This role provides centralised IT support multiple operating companies across 4 locations in Bangkok, Chiang Mai, Pattaya and Phuket. It is the group’s single point of accountability for IT and the primary contact for all IT vendors.

Key Responsibilities:

End-user support and workplace technology

  • Provide first- and second-line support for computers, notebooks, printers and scanners, mobile devices, Microsoft 365, and email across all group companies. Log, track and resolve requests within agreed service levels.
  • Prepare, install, and configure devices and accounts for new joiners. On departure, recover devices, revoke access, and reclaim software licences.
  • Provide technical support for meetings and company events, including video conferencing, projectors, sound and display equipment.

Network and site infrastructure

  • Maintain internet connectivity, Wi-Fi, routers, switches and structured cabling at the head office, retail branches, spa locations, the sports venue and hotel properties.
  • Maintain separation between corporate, operational, and guest or customer networks. Support CCTV, access control and door or key-card systems where these run on the network.
  • Monitor connectivity and uptime at each site. Coordinate with internet service providers and contractors on faults, upgrades, and new site openings.

Operational and business systems

  • Provide first-line support and vendor coordination for point-of-sale systems at retail branches and spa locations, covering terminals, payment devices, connectivity, and day-end processes.
  • Provide the same support and coordination for hotel property systems, including the property management system, channel manager, booking engine and key-card system.
  • Support users of corporate systems — HR, payroll, accounting, and time-attendance — and coordinate with their vendors. This role supports the use of these systems; it does not administer or develop them.
  • Support new site openings and system rollouts: IT requirements, equipment specification, installation scheduling and go-live support.

Accounts, access, and information security

  • Administer user accounts, email accounts and access permissions across group systems on a least-privilege basis, and conduct periodic access reviews with each business unit.
  • Maintain endpoint protection, software patching, and backup and restore for corporate systems. Test restores at defined intervals.
  • Support the group’s compliance with the Personal Data Protection Act (PDPA) on IT systems holding guest, customer, franchise and employee data — access control, retention settings and incident reporting.

IT assets, licenses and vendors

  • Maintain the IT asset register — computers, notebooks, network equipment, POS hardware and software licenses — recording holder, location and renewal date.
  • Manage relationships with IT vendors and service providers: obtain quotations, compare options, track service levels and escalate unresolved issues. Recommend purchases for approval under the group’s procurement process.

F.  Documentation and improvement

  • Maintain IT documentation: network diagrams, system inventories, user guides, and a knowledge base of recurring issues and their solutions.
  • Recommend and implement improvements to IT systems, processes and standards in support of group operations, and prepare the annual IT budget for approval.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.

G. New system selection and implementation

  • Take part in the selection of new IT and business systems for the group from the outset: gather user requirements from the business units, assess vendor proposals and demonstrations on technical grounds, and review technical specifications, integration requirements and data-security terms before any contract is signed.
  • Act as the group’s technical counterpart to the implementing vendor throughout the project: coordinate configuration, integration with existing systems, data migration and cut-over planning, and track open issues through to closure.
  • Plan and run user acceptance testing with the relevant business units, confirm readiness before go-live, deliver user training and documentation, and provide close support during the stabilization period after go-live.
  • Confirm that every new system meets the group’s IT standards for access control, backup and personal-data protection before it is put into production use

Other

  • Perform other related duties as assigned
