About the role
Be part of the 24/7 Helpdesk as a point of contact regarding support for all sorts of IT issues, concerns, and requests for both hardware and software.
Key responsibilities
- Manage issues using ticketing system to document concerns and resolution
- Assist HR and Operations on IT concerns and requests regarding new hire computer system setup and user access
- Facilitate user access credential provisioning and ensure availability prior to new hire onboarding as well as timely termination of access to outgoing employees
- Troubleshoot issues related to virtual computers and servers as needed
About you
- BS in Computer Science or IT related studies
- At least 3 years relevant experience as Technical Support
- Advanced knowledge of Windows 10 operating system and support
- Physical and virtual desktop troubleshooting
- Advanced understanding of network WAN and LAN topologies
- Understanding of network routing, load balancing, VLAN, VPN (IPsec and SSL)
- Knowledgeable of Windows Server 2012 services DNS, Active Directory, Domain Controller
- Good understanding of Terminal Services; experience working with Microsoft Virtual Desktop is an advantage
- Good knowledge of Microsoft Office 365 management
- Working experience with VoIP systems and understanding of its principles
