About the role

Eli Consolidated Resources Corp. is seeking a dedicated IT Staff to join our growing technology support team in Sampaloc, Manila. This is a full-time position based on-site, where you will play a crucial role in maintaining and supporting our organisation's information technology infrastructure. As an IT Staff member, you will be at the forefront of our technical support operations, ensuring that our systems, networks, and end-user devices operate smoothly and efficiently. Your contributions will directly impact the productivity and operational efficiency of teams across the company.

Key responsibilities

• Provide first-line and second-line technical support to end-users, diagnosing and resolving hardware, software, and network issues in a timely manner
• Manage and maintain company IT infrastructure, including servers, workstations, printers, and networking equipment
• Install, configure, and troubleshoot operating systems, applications, and software updates across the organisation
• Monitor system performance and security, identifying and addressing potential vulnerabilities and threats
• Maintain accurate documentation of IT assets, incidents, and resolutions using ticketing systems
• Provide user training and technical guidance to help staff maximise the use of IT systems and applications
• Perform routine maintenance tasks, including backups, system updates, and preventative troubleshooting
• Assist in planning and implementing IT infrastructure improvements and technology upgrades
• Support network administration tasks, including user account management and access control
• Respond to emergency situations and critical system failures with urgency and professionalism

What we're looking for

• Diploma or degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field; or equivalent practical experience in IT support

• Proven experience in IT support or help desk roles, with a solid understanding of IT infrastructure and systems

• Strong knowledge of operating systems, including Windows, macOS, and Linux environments

• Proficiency in troubleshooting hardware, software, and network connectivity issues

• Familiarity with ticketing and asset management systems

• Understanding of network fundamentals and basic networking protocols

• Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical users

• Strong problem-solving abilities and a methodical approach to diagnosing and resolving technical issues

• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment

• Patience, reliability, and a customer-focused mindset in providing technical support
