About the role

We are seeking an IT Staff to join our team at our facility in Ngoro District, Mojokerto Regency, East Java. This is a full-time position that plays a crucial role in supporting and maintaining our information technology infrastructure and systems. As IT Staff, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our IT systems, providing technical support to end-users, and contributing to the overall digital transformation and efficiency of PT Unicharm Nonwoven Indonesia. This role offers the opportunity to work with modern technology whilst supporting a dynamic manufacturing environment.

Key responsibilities

• Provide first-line and second-line technical support to end-users across the organisation, resolving hardware and software issues in a timely and professional manner
• Install, configure and maintain computer hardware, software and peripheral devices to ensure optimal performance
• Manage and maintain network infrastructure, including servers, switches and connectivity equipment
• Monitor system performance and proactively identify potential issues before they impact operations
• Assist with data backup, recovery procedures and disaster recovery planning to ensure business continuity
• Maintain accurate documentation of IT assets, configurations and support tickets for audit and compliance purposes
• Collaborate with management to implement new systems, upgrades and technical improvements (AI, IoT, etc)
• Provide user training and support for new software applications and system changes
• Ensure compliance with information security policies and best practices to protect company data and systems
• Troubleshoot and resolve connectivity issues including network, email and internet-related problems

What we're looking for

• Formal qualification or certification in Information Technology, Computer Science or a related field.

• Proven experience working in an IT support or systems administration role, preferably in a manufacturing or industrial environment

• Strong technical knowledge of Windows and Linux operating systems, including installation and troubleshooting

• Experience with network administration, including TCP/IP protocols, DNS, DHCP and basic network troubleshooting

• Proficiency with hardware troubleshooting and the ability to diagnose and repair common computer and peripheral issues

• Knowledge of IT security best practices, data protection and compliance requirements

• Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to analyse issues logically and implement effective solutions

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical users

• Fluency in English & Japanese is preferred
