IT Supervisor

Key Responsibilities

• System monitoring: Supervise servers, networks, and computer systems to detect irregularities, address performance issues, and plan upgrade schedules.
• Policy development: Create, update, and enforce IT policies and procedures to maintain reliable departmental operations.
• User support management: Handle escalations from the help desk/service desk, ensuring timely and effective resolution.
• Vendor coordination: Evaluate departmental needs and collaborate with vendors to secure appropriate equipment and services.
• System upgrades: Direct upgrades and data migrations, streamline processes, safeguard stability, and maintain data security.
• Risk management: Identify potential risks and implement mitigation strategies to minimize project disruptions.
• Additional duties: Carry out other responsibilities relevant to the position.

Qualifications:

• Educational background: Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Engineering, or a related discipline.
• Professional experience: Minimum of 5 years in IT operations, with at least 2 years in a leadership role.
• Communication skills: Excellent verbal and written English proficiency.
• Leadership ability: Proven capacity to lead, mentor, and inspire teams.
• Organizational strengths: Detail‑oriented, able to manage multiple tasks, with strong time management expertise.
• Budget management: Experience in managing departmental budgets.
• Technical expertise: Skilled in system installation, configuration, and analysis.
• Knowledge areas: Strong knowledge of networks, cloud computing, data protection operations, and compliance legislation (e.g., GDPR).
• Tools proficiency: Advanced working knowledge of Office 365, project management tools, and Microsoft technologies.
• Work flexibility: Willing to work on a flexible schedule, including night shifts.
• Location requirement: Willing to be based in Subic, Zambales.
