About the roleShelter Restaurant is seeking a reliable, hands-on, and solutions-driven IT Supervisor to oversee and manage all IT systems across our venues in Bali. This role plays a key part in ensuring that daily operations run smoothly by maintaining stable, secure, and efficient technology infrastructure.

Beyond technical maintenance, the IT Supervisor will act as a proactive partner to the operations team—anticipating potential issues, minimizing downtime, and ensuring that all systems (especially POS and network) support a seamless guest and team experience.

The role requires a balance of technical expertise and practical problem-solving, with the ability to work across multiple locations, coordinate with vendors, and provide on-the-ground support when needed.

Key Responsibilities

1. IT Operations & System Management

• Oversee daily IT operations across all venues, including POS systems, networks, hardware, and software
• Ensure all systems are functioning efficiently to support smooth front-of-house and back-of-house operations
• Manage installation, configuration, and upgrades of IT systems and equipment

2. Troubleshooting & Issue Resolution

• Monitor system performance and proactively identify potential issues
• Respond promptly to technical problems and resolve them with minimal disruption to operations
• Escalate complex issues when needed and ensure proper follow-through until resolution

3. Network, Security & Data Protection

• Monitor network stability, performance, and connectivity across all locations
• Ensure data security, system access control, and compliance with company IT policies
• Oversee regular data backup processes and ensure data integrity

4. POS & Operational Systems Support

• Maintain and support POS systems to ensure accuracy and reliability in daily transactions
• Coordinate with POS providers and external vendors for troubleshooting, updates, and improvements
• Support system integrations related to operations (e.g., ordering, reporting, inventory if applicable)

5. Vendor & Asset Management

• Liaise with external IT vendors and service providers for maintenance, repairs, and system enhancements
• Maintain IT asset inventory, including tracking, condition, and lifecycle of equipment
• Ensure proper documentation of systems, licenses, and service agreements

6. User Support & Training

• Provide day-to-day technical support to team members across departments
• Guide staff on proper use of systems to minimize errors and improve efficiency
• Support onboarding of new staff in relation to system access and usage

Requirements

1. Experience & Background

• Minimum 2–3 years of experience in IT support or in a supervisory IT role
• Experience in hospitality or multi-outlet environments is an advantage

2. Technical Competencies

• Strong knowledge of network systems, hardware, and software management
• Hands-on experience with POS systems and related operational technologies
• Basic understanding of IT security, data backup, and system maintenance practices

3. Problem Solving & Execution

• Strong troubleshooting skills with a proactive and solutions-oriented mindset
• Able to work under pressure and respond effectively to operational issues
• Capable of handling multiple venues and prioritizing tasks efficiently

4. Communication & Collaboration

• Good communication skills, with the ability to support non-technical users clearly
• Able to work collaboratively with operations teams and external vendors
• Service-oriented approach, supporting smooth day-to-day business operations
