IT Support and Development Analyst

About the role

We’re looking for a technically capable IT all-rounder with 3 years’ experience to join our IT team. You’ll combine first-line IT support with development work. That covers SAP and ERP support, database queries, and building AI-assisted automations. You will work with teams across the business to improve our systems and processes.

Position Overview

• Handle programming-related queries and troubleshoot SAP and other ERP modules and integrations
• Build workflows and automate repetitive tasks with Microsoft Power Platform and AI tools
• Create and optimize queries, and build reports and dashboards in Power BI
• Provide first-line support for software, hardware, servers, and networks, and escalate complex issues
• Manage the helpdesk ticketing system by logging, prioritising, and tracking requests through to resolution
• Maintain the IT asset register and run periodic audits
• Run routine system checks, keep documentation and user guides up to date, and report on helpdesk metrics

Requirements

• Diploma or degree in IT, Computer Science, Informatics, or equivalent
• Minimum 3 years in an IT support, development, or ERP-focused role
• Ability to write and debug T-SQL and SAP HANA queries
• Proficiency in Python and Power BI, and familiarity with C# concepts
• Good knowledge of Windows and standard software, with basic networking and desktop support
• Excellent communication skills, able to explain technical concepts to non-technical users
• Customer-service mindset, strong organisation, and the ability to work under pressure

Advantageous

• Background in consulting, ERP, or programming
• Exposure to AI tools, low-code platforms, or RPA
• Experience with helpdesk, asset management, and remote support tools
