Job Description:

We are seeking an IT Support Associate to provide Tier 1 technical support to faculty, staff, and students in an educational environment. Candidates with prior experience in a university or higher education setting are preferred.

Responsibilities:

• Provide technical support for Windows and Mac operating systems, hardware, software, email, and desktop applications.
• Troubleshoot computer, printer, account, and network-related issues.
• Manage support tickets, document resolutions, and escalate complex issues.
• Provide in-person support, device lending, and classroom audiovisual assistance.
• Maintain technical documentation and collaborate with IT support teams.

Requirements:

• 3–5 years of technical customer support experience.
• Experience troubleshooting Mac and Windows systems.
• Experience supporting email and desktop applications.
• Basic knowledge of hardware, software, and network protocols.
• Strong communication, problem-solving, and customer service skills.
• Preferred: Prior experience in a university, college, or higher education environment.
• High school diploma or equivalent required; college degree strongly preferred.

Pay: $35.00 - $40.00 per hour
