IT Support

Core Duties

1. To provide Level 1 & 2 IT operational and technical support for the Association, which will include:

• Provide technical support for hardware, software, peripherals, Microsoft 365 suite and network connectivity.
• Provide support for routine maintenance of servers, network devices and backups under the guidance of the IT Manager.
• Assist with software updates, antivirus deployment, security patching and cybersecurity initiatives.
• Provide technical support for SMA meetings, Council meetings, webinars, courses and events.
• Liaise with external vendors for routine maintenance, repairs and warranty claims when required.

2. To assist in reviewing and improving technology-related processes and identify opportunities to improve operational efficiency.

3. To maintain accurate IT documentation, standard operating procedures and asset registers based on CSA, NIST and ISO27001 frameworks.

4. Assist in the Cyber and Data Essentials implementation.

5. To support the implementation of IT projects, system enhancements and new technologies as directed by the IT Manager.

6. To perform any other responsibilities as required by the IT Manager or Chief Administrator.
