IT Support

Duties & Responsibilities :

• Proficiency in troubleshooting hardware and software issues.
• Knowledge of operating systems such as Windows, MacOS, and Linux.
• Familiarity with networking concepts including TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, and Wi-Fi.
• Ability to diagnose and resolve issues with printers, POS systems, barcode scanners, and other retail-specific hardware.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Patience and the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical users.
• Empathy and a customer-centric approach to problem-solving.
• Ability to work under pressure and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Understanding of the unique IT needs and challenges in a hypermarket or retail environment.
• Awareness of inventory management systems and retail-specific software.
• Knowledge of point-of-sale (POS) systems and their integration with other IT systems.
• Familiarity with customer loyalty programs and CRM software used in retail settings.

Skills and Abilities :

• Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in computer science
• Proven experience as IT Support or relevant position
• Excellent diagnostic and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication ability
• In-depth understanding of diverse computer systems and networks
• Good knowledge of internet security and data privacy principles

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: AED2,500.00 - AED3,000.00 per month

Work Location: In person
