IT SUPPORT

The IT Support staff is responsible for providing technical assistance to employees, maintaining computer systems, and ensuring the smooth operation of the company’s IT equipment and software. The role involves troubleshooting technical issues, installing and configuring hardware and software, resolving network connectivity problems, and assisting users with IT-related concerns.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Provide technical support to employees for computer hardware, software, printers, and other IT equipment.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to computers, networks, and applications.
• Install, configure, and maintain computer systems, software, and peripherals.
• Assist with network connectivity, email setup, and user account management.
• Perform routine system updates, maintenance, and basic data backups.
• Monitor IT equipment and report technical problems requiring further attention.
• Maintain records of IT issues, repairs, and support requests.
• Ensure the proper use and security of company IT equipment and systems.

Qualifications and Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of relevant work experience.
• Proficiency in troubleshooting hardware, software, printers, and network connectivity.
• Experience in Windows operating systems, and user account management.
• Ability to provide technical support to employees and resolve IT issues promptly.
• Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively under pressure.
• Relevant professional certifications will be considered an advantage.
