IT Support

Role Overview:

We are looking for an IT Support person who will be responsible for providing day-to-day IT support to our India users. The person will handle regular technical issues, assist users with their IT requirements, and work closely with me for any additional support or issues that need to be addressed.

The candidate should be reliable, responsive, and available during working hours to assist with IT-related requests whenever required.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide day-to-day IT support to all India users.
• Troubleshoot issues related to laptops, desktops, printers, software, and Windows.
• Support Microsoft 365 applications, Outlook, Teams, and other business applications.
• Assist users with password, login, account, and access-related issues.
• Provide support for RDP and other remote-access tools.
• Troubleshoot basic internet, Wi-Fi, VPN, and network connectivity issues.
• Assist users with file-share access and permissions.
• Set up and configure laptops, desktops, software, and other IT equipment.
• Support new employee onboarding and employee off boarding from an IT perspective.
• Maintain basic records of company laptops, computers, and other IT assets.
• Coordinate with vendors or service providers when required.
• Provide remote assistance and guide users through technical issues.
• Document IT issues and their resolutions when required.
• Follow company IT and security procedures.
• Assist with other IT-related tasks and projects as assigned.

Required Skills:

• Good knowledge of Windows operating systems and basic troubleshooting.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft 365 and Outlook.
• Basic understanding of networking, including Wi-Fi, VPN, DNS, DHCP, routers, and switches.
• Experience with RDP and remote-support tools.
• Basic knowledge of user accounts and access permissions.
• Good troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Basic understanding of IT security and access management.

Education & Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree or diploma in IT, Computer Science, or a related field is preferred.
• 1–3 years of experience in IT support, help desk, or a similar role.
• Previous experience supporting users in a corporate environment is preferred.

Availability & Reporting:

• The position will be responsible for providing IT support to our India users.
• The candidate should be available during the required working hours for day-to-day user support.
• The candidate should also be available to coordinate with me whenever additional IT assistance, troubleshooting, or support is required.
• Any major or complex IT issue should be escalated to me for further assistance and resolution.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
