About the Role

We are looking for a hands-on IT / Technical Support Engineer to join our team and support a range of security and surveillance solutions, including CCTV, biometric systems and card access control systems.

This role is suitable for IT professionals who enjoy troubleshooting, onsite technical support, networking and working with physical technology systems.

You will work closely with customers and internal teams to troubleshoot technical issues, support system testing and commissioning, and ensure successful project implementation.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide phone, email and onsite technical support for CCTV, biometric and access control systems.
• Troubleshoot hardware, software, networking and system integration issues.
• Diagnose technical problems and provide effective solutions to customers.
• Perform onsite troubleshooting, system testing and technical support when required.
• Assist with system installation, configuration, commissioning and project handover.
• Conduct product, software and system testing before deployment.
• Provide basic training and technical guidance to customers after installation.
• Assist with project presentations and technical demonstrations.
• Recommend suitable products and technical solutions based on customer requirements.
• Work closely with customers, vendors, contractors and internal teams to resolve technical issues.
• Keep updated on new products, technologies and security solutions.
• Perform other technical duties and projects as assigned.

Requirements

• Diploma or Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Networking or a related discipline.
• Relevant IT / technical support experience will be added advantage
• Good knowledge of networking, IP configuration, troubleshooting and system integration.
• Experience with CCTV, access control, biometric or security systems will be an advantage.
