IT Support Engineer

About the role

We are seeking a motivated and customer-oriented IT Support Engineer to join our growing team. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing onsite and remote technical support to our clients, maintaining IT infrastructure, and ensuring smooth day-to-day operation of computer systems and networks. This role requires strong troubleshooting skills, a positive attitude, and the ability to work independently while delivering excellent customer service.

Key responsibilities

• Provide onsite and remote technical support to end users
• Install, configure, troubleshoot, and maintain desktops, laptops, printers, and mobile devices
• Support Microsoft 365 services, including Outlook, Teams, OneDrive, SharePoint, Exchange Online, and user licensing
• Manage user accounts, permissions, and security using Active Directory and Microsoft 365 Admin Center
• Configure and troubleshoot network equipment such as switches, routers, wireless access points
• Install and maintain network cabling and office IT equipment when required
• Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, operating system, and network issues
• Deploy new computers and migrate user data
• Perform system upgrades, software installations, patch management, and preventive maintenance
• Monitor system health, backups, antivirus, and endpoint security

About you

• Diploma or Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related discipline
• 1–3 years of IT support experience (fresh graduates with strong technical knowledge are welcome to apply)
• Good knowledge of Microsoft Windows 10/11 and Microsoft 365
• Familiarity with Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, TCP/IP, VPN, and networking concepts
• Experience with switches, wireless access points, firewalls, NAS, and backup solutions is an advantage
• Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills
• Good interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks
• Willing to travel to client sites for on-site support
• Possession of a Class 3 driving licence is an advantage
