IT Support Engineer

Job Overview:

As an IT Support Engineer, he/she will be responsible for delivering professional 2nd-level technical support, deskside services, and end-user computing solutions to ensure smooth daily business operations.

Responsibilities:

• Provide 2nd-level IT technical support and deskside assistance to end users in a clear and professional manner.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to PC/Notebook hardware, end-user software, Windows 11, Office 365 (O365), and general IT systems.
• Perform installations, moves, adds, and changes (IMAC) related to deskside equipment and user workstations.
• Build, configure, and deploy Windows PCs and laptops using standardized corporate images.
• Identify, document, and escalate complex IT issues to the line manager or supervisor as necessary.

Requirements:

• Higher Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related discipline.
• Minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience in IT end-user support or deskside service operations.
• Solid technical knowledge in PC building, system imaging, Windows 11 environment, and Microsoft Office 365 administration/troubleshooting.
• Strong problem-solving mindset with clear verbal and written communication skills to liaise effectively with end users.
• Willingness to work on rostered shift duties and flexibility to handle overtime when required.
