It Support Engineer

Key Responsibilities

• Provide L1/L2 technical support to employees for hardware, software, network, email, and system-related issues.
• Install, configure, maintain, and troubleshoot desktops, laptops, printers, scanners, and other IT peripherals.
• Manage Windows operating systems, Microsoft Office/365, email systems, antivirus, and other business applications.
• Troubleshoot and maintain LAN, WAN, Wi-Fi, switches, routers, VPN, and internet connectivity.
• Manage user accounts, access permissions, password resets, and employee onboarding/offboarding IT requirements.
• Maintain IT assets and ensure proper IT asset inventory and documentation.
• Coordinate with vendors and service providers for hardware, software, networking, internet, AMC, and other IT requirements.
• Monitor system performance, backups, antivirus/security updates, and IT infrastructure.
• Assist in implementing and maintaining IT security policies and data protection practices.
• Maintain proper documentation of IT issues, resolutions, assets, licenses, and maintenance activities.
• Support ERP, HRMS, attendance, payroll, and other business applications as required.
• Ensure timely resolution of IT tickets and user complaints.
• Assist with IT audits, system upgrades, software installations, and infrastructure projects.
• Provide support during new office setups, system migrations, and other IT-related projects.

Required Skills

• Strong knowledge of Windows OS and Microsoft Office / Microsoft 365.
• Good understanding of networking concepts TCP/IP, LAN, WAN, DNS, DHCP, VPN, routers and switches.
• Hands-on experience in hardware and software troubleshooting.
• Knowledge of Active Directory, user management, and access control.
• Knowledge of antivirus, backup, endpoint security, and IT security practices.
• Experience in IT asset and vendor management.
• Good troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to independently handle day-to-day IT operations
