IT Support Engineer

Job Title: Desktop- Engineer

Job Summary: We are seeking a dedicated Desktop Engineer to provide technical support and maintenance for end-user computing devices. The ideal candidate will handle initial troubleshooting, resolve technical issues, and escalate more complex problems to higher levels of support. The goal is to maintain seamless operations and robust network performance.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide first-level technical support for desktop hardware and software issues.
• Diagnose and resolve network-related issues and perform network maintenance tasks.
• Install, configure, and maintain desktop systems, applications, and network hardware.
• Monitor network performance and security, implementing necessary upgrades and patches.
• Document and track issues, resolutions, and changes in a ticketing system.
• Collaborate with other IT professionals to optimize and secure the network.
• Educate users on IT policies and best practices.
• Participate in disaster recovery planning and execution.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in information technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
• CompTIA A+, Network+, or similar certification.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in desktop support and network engineering.
• Strong understanding of network protocols, configurations, and security principles.
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
• Ability to work both independently and within a team.

Pay: £2,200.00-£2,600.00 per month
