IT Support Engineer - L1 | Junior

About the Role

We are looking for Junior IT Support Engineers (Level 1) to provide frontline technical support across end-user devices, Microsoft 365, business applications and basic connectivity issues.

This role is suitable for candidates starting their IT career or with up to 2 years of IT support experience who want to develop their technical skills and gain hands-on exposure across different IT environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide Level 1 remote and onsite IT support to end users.
• Troubleshoot PCs, laptops, printers, peripherals and common software issues.
• Support Windows, Microsoft 365 applications and basic macOS user issues.
• Assist with password resets, account access, email, printers and shared drives.
• Troubleshoot basic LAN, Wi-Fi and VPN connectivity issues.
• Maintain IT asset records and accurate support ticket documentation.
• Escalate complex technical issues to Level 2 engineers or vendors with proper troubleshooting notes.

Requirements

• Nitec, Higher Nitec, Diploma or equivalent in Information Technology, Computer Science or a related discipline, or relevant practical experience.
• 0–2 years of IT support experience.
• Fresh graduates with relevant IT internship or support experience are welcome to apply.
• Basic knowledge of Windows 10/11 and Microsoft 365.
• Basic understanding of LAN, Wi-Fi and VPN connectivity.
• Good troubleshooting, communication and customer service skills.
• Willing to learn and develop your technical capabilities.
