IT Support Engineer (MSP)

Dual Path Connected Solutions is seeking an experienced IT Support Engineer with a strong background in IT infrastructure deployments, client migrations, and project engineering within a Managed Service Provider (MSP) environment.

The primary focus is hands-on project execution across multiple client environments, including network deployments, Microsoft 365 migrations, endpoint management, and new-site onboarding. When not assigned to projects, the engineer actively owns and resolves Tier 2 MSP tickets. VoIP experience is preferred but is not the primary focus.

Primary Responsibilities – Infrastructure & Projects

• Implement client infrastructure deployments, migrations, new-site onboarding, and technology upgrades.
• Configure and troubleshoot firewalls, switches, wireless networks, VLANs, DHCP, DNS, VPNs, and connectivity.
• Perform Microsoft 365, Entra ID, Active Directory, and Intune deployments and migrations.
• Coordinate with onsite field technicians; provide remote engineering direction during installations and cutovers.
• Validate deployments, document configurations and handoffs, and communicate project status to stakeholders.

Tier 2 MSP Support

• Actively work Tier 2 support tickets from the shared queue when not assigned to projects; own issues through resolution.
• Troubleshoot Windows endpoints, Microsoft 365, identity, networking, and infrastructure issues.
• Use RMM and PSA platforms to remediate issues, maintain clear ticket notes, and meet SLA expectations.
• Participate in scheduled after-hours maintenance, cutovers, and on-call support.

VoIP Support – Secondary

• Assist with VoIP deployments and troubleshooting as needed; SkySwitch, Grandstream GDMS, and Microsoft Teams Phone familiarity is a plus.

Required Experience

• 3+ years of hands-on infrastructure deployment or project engineering experience.
• Strong Microsoft 365, Entra ID, Active Directory, and Intune knowledge.
• Practical firewall, switching, wireless, and network troubleshooting experience.
• Experience supporting multiple clients and using RMM/PSA platforms.
• Ability to independently execute assigned project work, communicate with customers, and resolve Tier 2 tickets.

Preferred Experience

• 3+ years in an MSP environment.
• Fortinet, Meraki, and UniFi environments.
• SkySwitch, Grandstream phones and GDMS, or Microsoft Teams Phone.
• Senior living, healthcare, or other multi-location, always-on environments.
