What they need

We are looking for an IT Support Engineer to own day-to-day IT operations at our Dnipro office. The role covers end-user support, the office network and Wi-Fi, backup internet and power, security systems, office equipment, test devices, and the full lifecycle of employee laptops, including remote setup for colleagues working outside the office. This is an on-site, hands-on role covering networking, devices and internal tooling, working closely with the IT Operations & Security team.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide on-site IT support for office employees and respond quickly to any hardware issues (camera, microphone, keyboard not working, etc.), including fast replacement of faulty equipment.
  • Prepare meeting rooms for client calls: set up webcams, microphones, TVs and video conferencing equipment.
  • Install, mount and configure office equipment: printers, scanners, TVs, displays and other devices.
  • Fully administer MikroTik routers: initial setup, addressing, DHCP, NAT, firewall rules, IPsec/VPN tunnels, failover between uplinks, config backups and RouterOS updates.
  • Maintain Starlink as the backup internet uplink: connect, reconnect, configure, and integrate it with MikroTik failover.
  • Manage UniFi infrastructure: add, replace and reconfigure Wi-Fi access points, install and configure UniFi Protect cameras, and keep firmware up to date.
  • Monitor office infrastructure in Zabbix and respond to alerts.
  • Support backup power during outages (Deye inverters, EcoFlow power stations, batteries, UPS): administer EcoFlow units and connect them as backup power, monitor equipment status and keep critical infrastructure running.
  • Support the office Ajax alarm system: motion sensors, configuration and maintenance.
  • Handle the full laptop lifecycle on Windows, macOS and Linux: setup, reconfiguration, full reset and reimaging.
  • Ship laptops to and receive them from remote employees, then set them up, reset or reconfigure them remotely.
  • Set up test devices (tablets, smartphones), ship them to and receive them from employees or clients, and track them in Jira Service Management.
  • Provide remote support via Apple Remote Desktop and AnyDesk.
  • Install Cortex XDR and GlobalProtect VPN on work devices and provide basic troubleshooting for them.
  • Maintain IT equipment inventory and asset records.
  • Process requests in Jira Service Management, and write and maintain Confluence guides covering setup and reset of Windows, macOS and Linux, Zabbix and MikroTik configuration, tool usage and internal processes.

Requirements:

  • 1+ year of hands-on experience in IT support or system administration.
  • Solid networking fundamentals: TCP/IP, subnetting, DHCP/DNS, NAT, VLANs, VPN/IPsec.
  • Hands-on experience administering MikroTik (RouterOS) and Ubiquiti UniFi (Network, Protect).
  • Confident with Windows, macOS and Linux: installation, configuration, troubleshooting and full reset.
  • Understanding of monitoring systems (Zabbix or similar).
  • Understanding of backup power systems: inverters (Deye), portable power stations (EcoFlow), batteries, UPS.
  • Basic understanding of endpoint security (EDR/XDR) and corporate VPN.
  • Experience with office equipment and video conferencing hardware.
  • Experience with Jira (Service Management) and Confluence, and the ability to write clear technical documentation.
  • Experience with remote support tools (Apple Remote Desktop, AnyDesk).
  • Good communication skills, a service mindset, and the ability to explain technical things to non-technical users.
  • Quick response and the ability to handle multiple requests in parallel.
  • English: Intermediate or higher.

Nice to have:

  • Experience with macOS MDM, Apple Business Manager and Munki.
  • Experience setting up Starlink.
  • Experience with Ajax security systems.
  • Experience with IP cameras and CCTV setup.
  • Hands-on experience with Cortex XDR and GlobalProtect.
  • A MikroTik certification (MTCNA) or similar.

Our Benefits:

  • Professional growth : Individual development plan, mentorship, reimbursement for professional certifications and English lessons, access to professional courses in Corporate Learning Management System.
  • Community : Tech community and knowledge-sharing events, English speaking club, corporate library and book club, volunteering and charity initiatives.
  • Wellbeing : Medical insurance, regular medical check-ups, sport reimbursement, paid vacation and sick leave, mental health support, and events.
  • Work environment : Fully-equipped offices, top-notch equipment, flexible work format, activities both in-office and online, Y-bucks, and access to the Yalantis store.
