IT Support, Banking

We are seeking an experienced IT Support to assist with daily IT operations and infrastructure facilities for one of our sizeable foreign Investment Banking clients.

Your new role

• Provide first-level help desk support for desktops, laptops, printers, corporate headphones, internet, email, and other office IT equipment.

• Handle IT incidents, service requests, and user enquiries; escalate and follow up with Head Office Helpdesk and service providers as needed.

• Support banking and trading systems, including SIRE IBM AS/400, SWIFT, Bloomberg, Reuters, IPC dealer phones, and voice recording systems.

• Monitor IT system health, performance, and availability; perform daily system reconciliations and market data verification, such as Kondor+ and LIBOR.

• Support server room and network operations, including network patching, UPS, cooling systems, equipment monitoring, and basic infrastructure troubleshooting.

• Manage hardware and software deployment, updates, patching, maintenance, and system upgrade/testing support.

• Manage IT assets and accessories, including procurement, inventory, maintenance, disposal, and record keeping.

  What you'll need to succeed

• 3+ years of experience in IT support, system administration, and infrastructure support (Banking, securities, or financial services experience is highly preferred)

• Strong troubleshooting, communication, documentation, and stakeholder-management skills.

• Sound knowledge of Hong Kong IT compliance, regulatory requirements, IT controls, and information security practices.

• Experience drafting IT policies, procedures, user manuals, and technical documentation.

• Familiarity with IBM AS/400, SWIFT, Kondor+, Bloomberg, Reuters, IPC dealer phones, or voice recording systems is an advantage.

• Proficient in English is a must
