It Support Intern

Role & responsibilities

• Provide first-level IT support to employees for hardware, software, and technical issues.
• Troubleshoot desktop, laptop, printer, scanner, and other IT hardware issues.
• Assist with installation, configuration, and troubleshooting of Windows operating systems and software applications.
• Support employees with MS Office, Outlook, email, and basic application-related issues.
• Troubleshoot basic LAN, Wi-Fi, internet, and network connectivity problems.
• Assist in setting up computers, laptops, printers, and other IT equipment for new and existing employees.
• Maintain records of IT assets, hardware, software, and accessories.
• Assist in IT asset allocation, tracking, and inventory management.
• Identify and escalate technical issues that require higher-level support.
• Assist with routine IT maintenance, system updates, and troubleshooting.
• Support employee onboarding by preparing and configuring IT equipment.
• Maintain proper documentation of IT issues, resolutions, and assets.
• Follow IT security and company policies while handling systems and devices.

Preferred candidate profile

• Graduate or pursuing a degree/diploma in IT, Computer Science, Information Technology, Electronics, or a related field.
• Freshers are welcome to apply.
• Basic knowledge of Windows, computer hardware, networking, and troubleshooting.
• Basic understanding of LAN, Wi-Fi, IP addresses, routers, and network connectivity.
• Familiarity with MS Office, Outlook, and common software applications.
• Good problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Willingness to learn and work in a fast-paced corporate environment.
