IT Support Internship

About the role

IT Support Intern position at The Lemonshot, a Digital Marketing & Creator Media company under CP Media Group. This role is designed for those interested in IT and problem-solving to provide IT support and maintain IT equipment for company employees. This is a hands-on opportunity to gain practical IT Support experience including machine setup, software installation, troubleshooting, and managing both Windows and MacBook laptops.

Key responsibilities

• Provide basic IT support and troubleshooting assistance to company employees
• Install and download programs and software according to user requirements
• Set up and prepare laptops and notebooks for new employees, including software installation and system configuration
• Troubleshoot and resolve basic issues on Windows (Dell) and macOS (MacBook) laptops
• Check and resolve basic hardware and software issues
• Maintain IT equipment and peripherals such as monitors, keyboards, mice, printers, and related office equipment
• Check and maintain IT assets and company equipment to ensure they are ready for use
• Coordinate with vendors or IT teams when issues require further resolution
• Document and update support records and issues encountered for team benefit
• Support other IT tasks as assigned

Qualifications

• Currently studying at bachelor's degree level, year 3–4 in Information Technology (IT), Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Systems, or related field
• Interest in IT Support, Hardware, and Software
• Basic knowledge of Windows and macOS operation; prior MacBook troubleshooting experience is a plus
• Understanding of basic computer hardware and software concepts
• Ability to install programs and perform basic computer and laptop configuration
• Troubleshooting skills and enjoyment of problem-solving
• Attention to detail and responsibility toward company equipment
• Service mindset and ability to communicate with non-technical users
• Quick learner, open to new technologies, and ready to take action
• Ability to work as a team and in a fast-paced digital and creative agency environment
