IT Support/ IT Technician

About the role

This is an IT Support and Help Desk role providing first-level technical support to users and assisting with IT operations across the organization and multiple locations.

Key responsibilities

• Respond to help desk tickets in a timely and professional manner
• Provide first-level technical support to users for hardware, software, network, printer, email, and system-related issues
• Troubleshoot, diagnose, and resolve common IT problems
• Escalate unresolved or complex issues to the IT Manager or relevant support team
• Follow up with users to ensure issues are resolved properly
• Prepare, update, and maintain IT documentation, including user guides, asset records, system procedures, troubleshooting steps, and support logs
• Assist in software installation, configuration, testing, and deployment
• Travel to company branches or other locations when required to provide IT support
• Assist the IT Manager with assigned tasks, projects, and daily IT operations
• Follow IT policies, security procedures, and company guidelines

About you

• Diploma or degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field (Preferred)
• Fresh graduates may be considered, but prior experience in IT support or help desk support is an advantage
• Basic knowledge of Windows operating systems, Microsoft Office, email systems, printers, and common business applications
• Basic understanding of networking, including LAN, Wi-Fi, IP addresses, routers, and switches
• Ability to troubleshoot hardware and software issues
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
• Able to work independently and as part of a team
• Responsible, organized, and willing to learn
• Able to manage multiple tasks and prioritize support requests
