About the Role

We are looking for an IT Support professional fluent in Spanish to join our client's team in Porto/Gaia. The ideal candidate will have experience in IT Support/Helpdesk, strong technical troubleshooting skills, and the ability to communicate effectively with teams in Spain and Portugal.

Fluency in Spanish is mandatory. The candidate must also be able to understand Portuguese and hold a valid driving licence, as the role involves regular contact with Spanish teams and occasional travel to different locations.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide technical support to users, both remotely and on-site.
• Configure, install, and troubleshoot hardware and software, primarily in Microsoft Windows environments.
• Support IT Operations projects, including the setup and opening of new stores.
• Manage hardware and software inventory.
• Perform maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of IT equipment.
• Carry out preventive visits to stores and provide on-site technical assistance when required.
• Install network cabling and organise IT racks and data centre infrastructure.
• Ensure the security, confidentiality, and integrity of information and IT systems.
• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure efficient IT service delivery.

Requirements

• Technical qualification in IT, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Previous experience in IT Support, Helpdesk, or IT equipment maintenance.
• Fluency in Spanish (mandatory).
• Ability to understand Portuguese.
• Good knowledge of Microsoft 365, Windows 11, and Active Directory.
• Experience with network cabling and IT infrastructure organisation is a plus.
• Valid driving licence and availability to travel.
• Flexibility to participate in an on-call rotation.
• Strong communication, problem-solving, and teamwork skills.

Working Conditions

• Location: Porto / Gaia, Portugal
• Work model: On-site
• Working hours: 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM

On-Call Responsibilities

The role includes an on-call rotation, with one week per month of availability under the following schedule:

• 9:00 AM – 4:00 PM: On-site work.
• 4:00 PM – 6:00 PM: Travel home.
• 6:00 PM – 8:00 PM: On-call availability.
• 8:00 PM – 11:00 PM: Additional on-call coverage, according to the rotation.
• Weekends and public holidays: On-call availability from 9:00 AM to 11:00 PM.
