IT Support Specialist

Job Requirements:

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or Information Technology.
• Provide first-line technical support to employees for hardware, software, and network-related issues.
• Troubleshoot and resolve IT issues promptly and efficiently
• Document and track incidents and service requests using a ticketing system
• Monitor, maintain, and upgrade network infrastructure (LAN/WAN, routers, switches, firewalls)
• Administer and maintain servers, both on-premises and cloud-based, ensuring high availability and reliability
• Manage user accounts, permissions, and access controls using Active Directory and other identity management tools.
• Install, configure, and maintain operating systems, applications, and software updates
• Manage hardware inventory, including desktops, laptops, printers, and mobile devices
• Coordinate with vendors for procurement, repairs, and maintenance of IT equipment
• Ensure regular data backups and test backup procedures to guarantee data integrity and availability
• Maintain disaster recovery plans and procedures
• Prepare and present regular reports on system performance, security status, and project progress
