Duties

• Provide technical support to end-users by troubleshooting hardware, software, and network issues promptly and effectively.
• Manage help desk systems to document, prioritize, and resolve support tickets efficiently.
• Assist with computer management tasks including setup, configuration, upgrades, and maintenance of desktops, laptops, mobile devices, and peripherals.
• Support network infrastructure including LAN (Local Area Network), TCP/IP protocols, DNS (Domain Name System), VPN (Virtual Private Network), firewalls, and Active Directory management.
• Troubleshoot equipment problems related to computer hardware, operating systems such as Windows, macOS, Linux, and associated software applications.
• Collaborate with team members to analyze system performance issues and implement solutions to optimize IT infrastructure.
• Maintain security protocols by supporting GPO (Group Policy Objects), firewall configurations, and ensuring compliance with IT policies.
• Assist in the deployment of new hardware and software solutions while providing ongoing support for existing systems.
• Communicate clearly with users at all levels to provide technical troubleshooting support and guidance on best practices.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in IT support or desktop support roles with a strong understanding of computer networking concepts.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite, help desk systems, and computer management tools.
• Solid knowledge of operating systems including Windows (supporting Windows environments), macOS, and Linux.
• Familiarity with hardware troubleshooting—identifying issues with computers, peripherals, mobile devices—and providing effective solutions.
• Experience supporting network troubleshooting involving LAN/WAN connections, DNS resolution, TCP/IP protocols, VPNs, firewalls, and TCP communication standards.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts clearly to non-technical users.
• Ability to manage customer support tickets efficiently while maintaining a high level of customer service excellence.
• Knowledge of Active Directory management for user account creation and permissions control.
• Analysis skills to diagnose complex technical problems quickly and accurately.
• Certifications such as CompTIA A+, Network+, or Microsoft Certified Professional are a plus but not mandatory.
