IT Support Specialist

About the Role

We’re looking for a hands-on IT Support Specialist who can keep day-to-day technology running smoothly across our organization. You’ll support employees, maintain core IT systems, troubleshoot technical issues, and help ensure our infrastructure remains secure and stable.

What You’ll Do

Set up, install, and configure employee workstations, including hardware, software, and user accounts.

Monitor and maintain computer systems, servers, databases, dialers, and networks to achieve optimal functionality.

Diagnose technical issues, troubleshoot root causes, and implement effective resolutions.

Administer and monitor firewall systems and other network security tools.

Assess requirements for new systems, upgrades, or modifications and provide practical recommendations.

Document reported issues, resolutions, and findings in a timely manner through technical reports.

Maintain accurate IT asset and equipment inventory.

What We’re Looking For

Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Computer Engineering or a related field.

At least 1 year of experience providing in-house IT support.

Strong working knowledge of computer hardware, software, networking, and peripheral devices.

Hands-on experience with workstation setup, hardware assembly, maintenance, and troubleshooting.

Familiarity with monitoring systems, network components, and IT infrastructure.

Strong initiative and willingness to continuously learn new technologies.

Good written and verbal communication skills in English.

Organized, dependable, and able to respond effectively to technical issues as they arise.

Willing and able to work night shifts as needed.
