IT Support Specialist

• Provide first-level support to customer service request
• Handle customer support calls or message (thru email or any other communication platform) in a timely and accurate manner
• Understand support problems, analyze problem data and determine appropriate solutions
• Maintain problem documentations and their resolution procedures for reference procedures
• Monitor system performance and reports downtime and performance issues to the supervisor
• Install, configure and maintain software and hardware system (workstations)
• Assist in development and enhancement of the IT systems
• Assess potential risks and technical challenges, prepare appropriate mitigation plans
• Recommend process improvements to ensure system reliability, scalability, security, integrity and performance
• Implement the data back-up/recovery policy and full documentation of its inventory

Qualifications & Skills:

• At least with 2 years experience on the position or related position
• Graduate of Bachelor of Science in Information Technology, Computer Science
• Sufficient understanding of computer hardware, software systems and network systems
• Knowledge in system security (e.g., intrusion, detection systems) and data back-up recovery
• Ability to quickly learn an array of computer hardware and software
