IT Support Specialist

About the role

Provide first-level technical support to employees for hardware, software, network, and system-related concerns. Set up and configure computers, laptops, printers, mobile devices, and other IT equipment. Assist with the creation, modification, and deactivation of employee IT accounts and access.

Key responsibilities

• Diagnose and resolve common technical issues involving laptops, desktops, printers, peripherals, applications, and connectivity
• Assist employees with installation, configuration, updates, and basic troubleshooting of approved software and applications
• Provide timely support for employee onboarding, transfers, and offboarding requirements
• Set up and configure computers, laptops, printers, mobile devices, and other IT equipment
• Maintain accurate records of IT assets, assignments, warranties, repairs, and replacements
• Monitor the condition and usability of company-issued devices and recommend repairs or replacements when necessary
• Ensure proper turnover, retrieval, and documentation of IT equipment
• Support password resets, account access concerns, and basic permissions management
• Coordinate with relevant system administrators or vendors for access issues beyond first-level support
• Ensure that access requests are properly documented and authorized
