Duties

• Provide technical support to staff by troubleshooting hardware, software, and network issues promptly and effectively.
• Manage help desk systems by logging, tracking, and resolving support tickets with accuracy and professionalism.
• Assist users with operating systems such as Windows, macOS, and Linux, ensuring optimal performance and security.
• Support computer networking tasks including LAN (Local Area Network), TCP/IP protocols, DNS (Domain Name System), VPN (Virtual Private Network), and firewall configurations.
• Perform hardware support tasks such as diagnosing equipment troubleshooting problems, replacing components, and maintaining computer hardware.
• Manage Active Directory accounts for user access control and permissions management.
• Collaborate with team members to analyze issues related to IT infrastructure, including servers like Microsoft Windows Server and Linux-based systems.
• Support mobile devices and peripherals to ensure connectivity and functionality across all platforms.
• Assist in the setup, configuration, and maintenance of network devices such as routers, switches, and firewalls.
• Communicate clearly with end-users to provide technical troubleshooting support while delivering excellent customer service.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in IT support or desktop support roles with a strong understanding of computer hardware and software troubleshooting.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and help desk systems for efficient ticket management.
• Solid knowledge of operating systems including Windows, macOS, and Linux environments.
• Familiarity with computer networking concepts such as LAN, TCP/IP, DNS, VPNs, firewalls, and TCP protocols.
• Experience supporting Active Directory management for user account administration.
• Ability to troubleshoot equipment issues related to hardware components like desktops, laptops, printers, and mobile devices.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts clearly to non-technical users.
• Analysis skills to diagnose complex problems quickly and accurately while providing effective solutions.
• Knowledge of IT infrastructure components including servers (Windows Server), network devices, and security protocols is preferred.

Pay: $100,000.00 - $150,000.00 per year
