About The Role

Role Overview

We are looking for an IT Support Specialist to support and maintain our IT infrastructure across branch locations and head office. The role will focus on Microsoft 365 administration, end-user device management, cybersecurity, network troubleshooting, and application support, ensuring our colleagues have reliable and effective IT systems to carry out their day-to-day responsibilities.

Whilst this role is based is our Head Office in St Albans, there will be requirement to travel across our branch network.

Key Responsibilities

• Support and manage the organisation’s Microsoft 365 tenancy, ensuring the environment remains secure, reliable, and fit for purpose
• Liaise with our Microsoft 365 tenancy provider to resolve technical issues, manage changes, and maintain the overall service
• Assist with the configuration, administration, and ongoing maintenance of Microsoft 365 services
• Configure, enrol, deploy, and support workstations, laptops and network equipment across branch locations and head office
• Troubleshoot hardware, software, connectivity, and device configuration issues
• Ensure devices are correctly set up and maintained in line with the organisation’s IT & cybersecurity standards and requirements
• Provide technical support for branch network infrastructure, investigating and resolving connectivity and network-related issues
• Troubleshoot network faults and liaise with relevant third-party providers where necessary
• Help maintain reliable network connectivity across all branch locations and head office
• Provide technical support to branches for the Autopart application, ensuring issues are investigated and resolved efficiently
• Work closely with MAM to troubleshoot and resolve application issues, implement new features, and coordinate new system setups and orders
• Support branches with the introduction of new functionality and ensure systems are configured to meet operational requirements
• Provide clear communication and technical guidance to branch colleagues, minimising disruption to business operations

Essential Experience

• Practical experience supporting and administering a Microsoft 365 tenancy, including working with an external tenancy provider
• Experience configuring, enrolling, deploying, and supporting Windows workstations and laptops
• Experience troubleshooting network connectivity and infrastructure issues
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills, with the ability to manage technical issues across multiple sites
• A customer-focused approach, with clear communication skills and the ability to work effectively with colleagues, third-party providers, and external support teams
