Our client is looking for a competent IT Support Specialist – Software & Applications to maintain the availability, reliability, security and performance of its software applications and technology platforms.

The successful candidate will support business applications, trading platforms, websites, client-facing systems and third-party integrations. The role requires a technically capable professional who can troubleshoot application issues, manage system updates, monitor critical services and provide timely support to users.

Experience supporting financial applications, securities trading platforms or other business-critical technology environments will be an advantage.

Key Responsibilities

• Install, configure, administer and update software applications, web platforms and backend systems.
• Provide technical support for trading platforms and financial applications.
• Monitor market-data feeds, secure broker connections and other trading-related technology services.
• Maintain and troubleshoot websites, content management systems (CMS) and client-facing applications.
• Support API integrations and troubleshoot issues involving third-party applications and services.
• Administer user accounts, access permissions and application configurations.
• Apply software patches, updates and upgrades within approved maintenance windows.
• Monitor application availability, performance and uptime, identifying and resolving issues promptly.
• Manage and document incidents, problems and changes in line with established procedures.
• Coordinate with vendors and third-party service providers to resolve application-related issues.
• Support application recovery and business continuity readiness.
• Provide technical guidance and basic training to users.
• Follow security, access control and change management procedures to minimise operational risks.

Requirements and Qualifications

• BSc or HND in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering or a related discipline.
• Minimum of 3 years’ experience in application support, IT support, software administration or a related role.
• Demonstrable experience administering enterprise applications, web platforms, databases, APIs or user-facing systems.
• Familiarity with application troubleshooting, system monitoring, software updates and incident management.
• Understanding of user access administration, information security and controlled system changes.
• Exposure to financial services, investment technology or securities trading platforms is an advantage.

• Understanding of network fundamentals, VPNs, firewalls and security patching.
• Ability to monitor system performance and investigate service interruptions.

• Excellent communication and user-support skills.
• Attention to detail, adaptability and a strong sense of responsibility.
• Ability to remain calm and respond effectively to critical incidents during market hours.

Pay: ₦400,000.00 - ₦600,000.00 per month
