Job descriptions & requirements

Responsibilities:

• Provide day-to-day first-line technical support to hotel staff and management and respond promptly to technical issues and service requests.
• Install, configure, maintain, and troubleshoot computers, printers, scanners, and other IT equipment.
• Manage and troubleshoot the hotel’s network, internet, Wi-Fi, and connected devices; monitor connectivity and minimize downtime.
• Provide first-line technical support for the hotel’s PMS, POS, HR/attendance system, accounting system, email, and other operational applications.
• Assist with user accounts, passwords, access control, and system permissions in accordance with management authorization.
• Assist with CCTV and other technology systems where required.
• Perform routine system updates and basic security checks and monitor routine backup processes; promptly report failures or security concerns.
• Maintain an up-to-date IT asset register covering computers, printers, network equipment, CCTV equipment, and other technology assets.
• Maintain records of IT equipment, repairs, maintenance, incidents, and service activities.
• Liaise with PMS, POS, network, CCTV, and other IT vendors when specialized installation, troubleshooting, maintenance, or support is required.
• Provide basic IT guidance and training to end-users.
• Perform other IT-related duties reasonably assigned by management.

Requirements:

• A minimum of 2 years of experience
• A minimum of an MSc./MBA in a related field
