IT SUPPORT STAFF

JOB DESCRIPTION

• Provide first-line technical support to end-users regarding hardware, software, network, and system issues.
• Install, configure, and maintain desktop computers, printers, and other IT equipment.
• Assist in the maintenance and monitoring of the dealership’s network infrastructure, internet connectivity, and server systems.
• Support system users in troubleshooting issues related to management systems, accounting systems, and email.
• Ensure antivirus, security patches, and software updates are properly implemented.
• Document issues, solutions, and equipment inventory records for tracking and reporting purposes.
• Coordinate with external vendors or IT specialists for major system concerns, repairs, or upgrades.
• Conduct routine IT maintenance, backups, and preventive measures to minimize downtime.
• Support onboarding of new employees by setting up user accounts, access permissions, and hardware setup.
• Uphold data privacy and cybersecurity practices within the dealership

QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
• At least 1 year of experience in IT support or a similar technical role.
• Critical and Strategic Thinking, Negotiation Skills, Excellent Leadership Skills, Decision-Making Skills, Excellent Communication Skills, Interpersonal Skills, Proficient in basic computer/database systems.
• Keen attention to details, positive outlook, highly organized, motivates team members.
