IT Support – Job Description

• Provide technical support to users for hardware, software, network, and system-related issues.
• Troubleshoot and resolve IT problems both remotely and on-site.
• Install, configure, and maintain computers, laptops, printers, and other IT equipment.
• Perform basic network troubleshooting, including LAN, Wi-Fi, and connectivity issues.
• Manage user accounts, access permissions, and basic system configurations.
• Monitor and maintain IT assets, ensuring proper documentation and inventory records.
• Escalate complex technical issues to the relevant IT team or vendor when necessary.
• Assist with system updates, software installation, and routine IT maintenance.
• Provide guidance and technical assistance to users to ensure smooth daily operations.
• Maintain documentation of incidents, troubleshooting steps, and resolutions.

Qualifications

• Minimum Diploma/Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
• Minimum 1 year of experience in IT Support, Technical Support, Helpdesk, or a similar role.
• Good understanding of computer hardware, software, operating systems, and basic networking.
• Familiar with Windows OS, Microsoft Office, and common IT applications.
• Able to perform basic troubleshooting for LAN, Wi-Fi, printers, and other peripherals.
• Good problem-solving and communication skills.
• Able to work independently as well as part of a team.
• Customer-oriented with good attention to detail.
• Willing to work on-site and provide direct support to users when required.
