What they need
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related field. With 2–3 years of relevant experience in system and network administration, IT infrastructure, or technical support.
- Knowledgeable in network configuration, server and system administration, and IT infrastructure management.
- Proficient in hardware, software, network, and system troubleshooting.
- With basic to intermediate programming and scripting knowledge for system support, automation, and troubleshooting.
- Experience in network monitoring, configuration, maintenance, and performance optimization.
- Knowledge of TCP/IP, LAN/WAN, routers, switches, firewalls, VPN, DNS, DHCP, and related network services.
- Capable of managing user accounts, access permissions, system configurations, backups, and security controls.
- Able to troubleshoot and resolve system, network, connectivity, and software issues with minimal supervision.
- Knowledge in remote access and system monitoring, particularly for solar PV or other remotely monitored systems, is an advantage.
- Familiarity with database management, cloud-based systems, FTP, web hosting, and server management is an advantage.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, documentation, and communication skills.
- Proactive, organized, and able to respond to urgent technical concerns in a timely manner.
- Willing to conduct field visits and provide technical support when required.
- Licensed/with relevant IT certifications is an advantage.
