IT Support Team Lead

This role is to support and maintain NEXtCARE‘s systems and infrastructure while ensuring a proper service delivery , resiliency, and continuity of the IT services hosted on premise and on the cloud.

What You Do In this role, you will:

• Lead the IT Support Team (3 people) and supervise their daily activities
• Ensure alignment of business expectations and IT service delivery
• Ensure availability of the services within the agreed and acceptable service levels
• Ensure business continuity and high availability of all critical IT components
• Supervise the IT service management system and distribute requests and incidents amongst the team
• Responsible for the design and implementation of the IT infrastructure services
• Responsible for day-to-day administration and reporting of the IT services
• Responsible for general health, maintenance, and support of the infrastructure components
• Contribute to the infrastructure deployments, enhancements and documentation
• Respond to escalated service incidents and requests using email, phone, and web
• Coordinate with other teams where IT service support is request
• Provide advice and information regarding the infrastructure as best practices
• Produce written designs and documentation regarding proposed or actual deployments

What You Bring

• Education: University degree in computer science or other relevant discipline

• Experience: 5+ years in IT management and hands-on technical experience , with at least 2 years of experience managing a team

• Certifications: Cloud, Operating system management, virtualization, Network and system administration

• Strong IT background and hands-on experience in:

• Software: Microsoft Products (Servers management, Applications) Operating Systems: Microsoft Windows server (2012R2, 2016, 2019), Linux, CentOS

• Network: Cisco (routing, switching, security)

• Storage: HP, EMC

• Virtualization: MS Hyper V, VM Ware

• Cloud: MS Azure, AWS, Oracle Cloud
