IT Support Technical Engineer

Job Summary

We are seeking a proactive and technically skilled IT Support Engineer to support the day-to-day IT operations of our rebar manufacturing facility in Dubai. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining IT infrastructure, ensuring uninterrupted operation of factory systems, supporting end users, and assisting with network, server, ERP, and production-related technologies.

Key Responsibilities

IT Infrastructure Support

• Install, configure, and maintain desktops, laptops, printers, scanners, and IT peripherals.
• Provide technical support to office and factory users.
• Monitor and maintain LAN/WAN networks, Wi-Fi connectivity, and internet services.
• Troubleshoot hardware, software, and network-related issues.

User and Systems Administration

• Manage user accounts, permissions, and access controls.
• Support Microsoft 365 services including Outlook, Teams, OneDrive, and SharePoint.
• Maintain Active Directory and Azure AD environments.
• Ensure timely installation of operating system and application updates.

Manufacturing Systems Support

• Provide first-level support for ERP systems, production software, and factory automation systems.
• Assist in maintaining barcode scanners, industrial PCs, weighing systems, and production terminals.
• Coordinate with production and maintenance teams to minimize IT-related downtime.

IT Security & Compliance

• Monitor antivirus, endpoint security, and system backups.
• Implement cybersecurity best practices and company IT policies.
• Assist in disaster recovery and business continuity activities.

Asset & Vendor Management

• Maintain IT inventory and asset records.
• Coordinate with third-party vendors and service providers for support and maintenance.
• Prepare IT documentation, SOPs, and support reports.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field.
• Minimum 2-5 years of experience in IT Support, preferably in manufacturing or industrial environments.
• Experience supporting Microsoft 365 and Windows environments.
• Knowledge of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPN, firewalls, and network troubleshooting.
• Experience with Active Directory, Azure AD, and endpoint management tools.
• Familiarity with ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics, Odoo, or similar) is an advantage.
• Valid UAE driving license is preferred.
