IT Support Technician

What You'll Do

· Provide day-to-day technical support for employee computers, software, printers, and other technology.

· Troubleshoot hardware, software, connectivity, and application issues.

· Set up and maintain Windows and Apple computers and company-issued devices.

· Assist with new employee technology setup, including computers, email accounts, and software access.

· Support employee offboarding and equipment recovery.

· Perform routine Microsoft 365 administration, including password resets, licensing, and access updates.

· Install and update approved software and applications.

· Maintain accurate inventory records for computers, equipment, and software licenses.

· Help maintain company technology security through routine updates, endpoint protection, and safe technology practices.

· Create troubleshooting guides and technical documentation.

· Assist employees with approved productivity, AI, and automation tools.

· Participate in technology improvement projects and workflow automation initiatives.

· Help support automation platforms such as Make.com, n8n, and similar tools.

· Coordinate with technology vendors and service providers when needed.

· Provide friendly, professional support to employees across all departments.

What We're Looking For

We're looking for someone who has a solid foundation in IT support, enjoys troubleshooting, and can communicate technical information in a way that makes sense to employees.

Qualifications:

· High school diploma or equivalent required.

· At least one year of IT support, help desk, technical support, or related experience.

· Working knowledge of Windows computers and common business software.

· Familiarity with Apple computers and macOS.

· Basic understanding of hardware, networking, and troubleshooting.

· Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.

· Ability to manage multiple priorities and follow through on support requests.

· Dependable, detail-oriented, and committed to providing excellent employee support.

· Willingness to learn new technology and support business improvement initiatives.

Preferred Experience:

· Microsoft 365 administration or support.

· Computer deployment, endpoint management, or IT asset tracking.

· Cybersecurity fundamentals.

· Technical documentation or knowledge base development.

· Manufacturing or multi-department IT support.

· AI productivity tools or automation platforms such as Make.com or n8n.

Preferred Certifications:

· CompTIA A+

· Microsoft 365 Fundamentals (MS-900)

· Google IT Support Professional Certificate or equivalent

Work Environment

This is an on-site position at our Ogden, Utah location. The role primarily involves office-based technical support, with occasional work in manufacturing and production areas.
